Lisa Carnoy

Lisa Carnoy is Global Co-Head of Capital Markets for Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Global Capital Markets spans Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance and Origination of Corporate Derivatives, and FX – with teams in 16 countries. Prior to her current role, Lisa was Global Head of Equity Capital Markets. Lisa has worked on over 400 bookrun equity deals including 75 IPOs. She is a member of the Capital Commitment Committees for Bank of America. In addition, Lisa is the Senior Champion for the Women’s Leadership Council across Global Banking and Markets and led BAML’s inaugural Global Women’s Day in 2011. Lisa plays an active role in campus and lateral recruiting and is Chair of the Columbia recruiting team.

Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Ms. Carnoy worked in investment banking at Drexel, Burnham & Lambert, Bear Stearns, and Wasserstein Perella. She received her BA cum laude in American studies from Columbia and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Lisa has served in numerous alumni leadership roles at Columbia including Co-Chair of the Board of Visitors and Co Founder of the Alumnae Taskforce. In 2010, she became a Trustee of Columbia University.
